As my Hope thrives through challenging times,

I find beautiful resonance in the Chinese proverb,

"The Three Friends of Winter",

in which the pine tree achieves longevity,

the plum tree blossoms in adversity,

and the bamboo bends to the winds of circumstance

before springing back with effortless resilience.
